Zenith Myth (Mike Edwards) is a Los Angeles based progressive rock band. Their self titled debut was released late 2011 and is out now on Vibra Cobra Records. The record was recorded & produced by Blinker the Star's Jordon Zadorozny at his French Kiss Studios in Pembroke, Ontario. Jordon is known for having co-written songs with Lindsey Buckingham, Sam Roberts, Courtney Love and Ken Andrews amongst many others. Recently, Jordon produced a track for Chris Cornell.

Edwards enrolled some of his close friends to play on the record, including Paul D'Amour (Tool), Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, Smashing Pumpkins), Mike Bloom (Julian Casablancas), Sam Goldberg (Broken Social Scene), and Meshell Ndegeocello.

The music is a personal collection of heavy and powerful emotionally charged progressive rock songs that experiment in structure. While the songs vary in tempo and tone, they almost seamlessly flow from modern rock, to classic rock, into melancholic ambient dub-like moments, characterized by high gain, extreme volume, and pulverizing lows. This along with pitch bending and the inventive use of feedback and distortion, the songs form almost their own hybrid. Zenith Myth is a break-up record of sorts, (what guest vocalist Meshell Ndegeocello describes as "the best kind of record.")
Edwards refers to this as "romantic alienation", with a lyrical agenda that comes from a more accepting and hopeful place.
